CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT

  • Consignment period is 90 days.

  • Consignment Split 40/60 on most items--40% to consignor, 60% to Fashion Exchange

  • Formal and Bridal Wear will be a 50/50 split.

  • A consignment fee of $5 will be deducted from your consignor account once yearly.

  • Checks will be ready for pick up by the 5th of each month for items sold in the previous month.

  • The consignor will not be notified when an item is sold, when there is a check to pick up, or when the contract ends. It is your responsibility to check on your consignment monthly.

  • Checks will not be mailed.  Please mark it on your calendar or make a reminder for the 5th of each month to check back with us.

  • Checks will be void 30 days after printing. Please be sure to pick up your checks. Checks will not be reissued. We are not responsible for any check that has previously been voided.

  • If any item is found to have any damage (stains, missing buttons, holes, etc.) after we accept it into inventory it will immediately be donated.

  • After contract end date all merchandise becomes property of Fashion Exchange and consignor will no longer receive a portion of profits. You may retrieve any unsold items. We allow a two-week grace period for this, after which items can no longer be removed from the store.

  • If Consignor does wish to have unsold items back, a list will be printed and consignor must locate and remove items from sales floor. This must be done within 2 weeks of consignment end date. No reminder calls will be made. Consignor must keep up with end date. 

  • You may check your balance, end date, and status of all inventories any time by going to www.fashionexchangelr.com. Click “Check My Consignment” then log in with your last name and Consignor ID (call in a few days for your ID).

  • Fashion Exchange reserves the right to mark down any item at any time without prior notice.

  • Fashion Exchange is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
